I came looking for a ghost. I found a war I wasn't ready for.

My father vanished three years ago, and everyone told me to let it go. I didn't. The trail led me straight to Iron Vale a club with a name that makes grown men go quiet, and a president who remembers exactly what my father took from him.

I didn't expect the bullets. I didn't expect the man who pulled me out of the way of them, either the one who looks at me like my last name is a knife he's still bleeding from.

He hates my father. He's not sure yet if he hates me too.

Now I'm locked inside the one place that might have the truth, guarded by the one man who wants nothing to do with me ordered to keep me alive by a club that has every reason to want me dead.
